How To Make Emergency Rechargable Tourch

I badly needed torch when my home's electricity suddenly went off at night because of some issues in breaker i had nothing to fix my breaker that's where i decided to make rechargeable torch.


The first thing i did is that i thought about function and features of my torch that what should it must have For example it should have rechargeable option , charging indicator light and off course on/off switch
Then i start gathering components
1× Any Charging plug(to charge the battery)
1× Led for charging indicator
1× Resistor to provide desired voltage for you led
1× Diode to prevent reverse voltage
1× On/off switch
1× Rechargeable battery

Now after gathering all the component i needed schematic for circuit and i try to make it as simple as possible.
After following the schematic and soldering all the component and capping the component the Result was pretty good

Well you can ignore my soldering for i am not a processional at this.

 The charging indicator was very helpful to know if its charging or not.

It works good. And I hope that i don not need to use it in future.

You can modify the as you want for example you can add another led to show whether the battery is fully charge or not.if you have other idea tell me in the comments.
